I think my dad has schizoid personality disorder @everhopeful.
He’s always been a loner. He has had very few friends besides the bottle.

I have had schizoid personality disorder. I’m still significantly schizoid, but now I feel it’s just a personality “style”. It was mistaken for Asperger’s syndrome. I also had social phobia, and still have a touch of it, so I’ve been solitary a lot, both out of choice and out of shyness.
