What happened to Chris Cornell?

I know he committed suicide a while back but does anyone know why?
I’ve been listening to Audioslave this morning and man what a voice on that guy!
So many rock stars die such early deaths it’s so sad.

From what I heard he struggled with booze and benzos.

So sad, thanks @Charles_Foster

if you listen to his songs he was always talking about ending his life…I believe he must have been bipolar or mentally ill of some sort…so sad…if you want to hear his best solo album look up “euphoria mourning”. love it.

I love the songs he made with audioslave. My favorite tune is I am the highway. I wish he were with us still. Gorgeous man he was.

Yes, I think that I like Audioslave more than Soundgarden @roxanna

The line up I saw back in 2014 I think Hyde Park London

  • Soundgarden
  • Motorhead
  • Black Sabbath

Chris and Lemmy are no longer with us, and Black Sabbath retired!

Was a once in a lifetime event for sure

Sound garden played just the album Super Unknown

I can listen to it all and enjoy all the songs - which is rare for an album to be fully enjoyable for me

Never got a chance to see him live. I’ve heard his music most of my life.

I read he had depression and agoraphobia. Hunger Strike is one of my favorite songs, such great music by him.

I’ve seen Neil Young twice, once at the concert I mentioned above, and once completely solo just him, a guitar and a piano. I wish I would have seen him 10 times now, what a great show!
