What dosage of Vraylar (cariprazine) do you take?

Hi folks. I have started taking Vraylar (cariprazine) and I would like to know what dosage do you folks take ?

I take 3mg. They started me on 1.5mg. How are you finding it so far?

I am on low dosage (1,5 mg / day) . Not good so far. It doesnā€™t do anything good for me.It just makes more anxious and more angry. But, I will give it a more try to see if it gets good. How do you find cariprazine?

Apologies I lost track of this thread.

Truth be told I think Iā€™m probably better off on Haldol, itā€™s a small heartbreak bc Haldol came out in like the 50s. Vraylar I gave a long leash to, but itā€™s not the ideal med for me I donā€™t think.

I liked how you mentioned ā€˜angerā€™ā€¦ how old are you? My ex Pdoc says itā€™s a ā€œyoung manā€™s gameā€ā€¦ and that describes me a little.

Iā€™m 41, I meant with me, the anger was in my twenties.

For you, do you drink? That eventually correlated with anger with me

I have stopped drinking 3 months ago.

Used to be on 3mg a day. Worked well for positive symptoms.

How to switch from abilify to vraylar

I am on 1.5mg per day. Iā€™ve noticed help with negative symptoms. I actually go to the gym in the mornings. But no matter what I always hear voices.

On 10mg of abilify I donā€™t feel like doing anything

I wonder what will happen if they increase my dosage of Vraylar.

How does the vraylar help ya? I have disorganized thinking and wondering if it helps with that

Iā€™m on 9 mg more than the fda recommends.
