Are they worth the extra price ? At my old address there was a place that delivered gourmet burgers. They were better than the ordinary burgers other takeaway places sold. That may not be saying much though.

I used to run the grill for uncle albert’s rock and roll grill and they served gourmet chicken and burger sandwiches…lots of extra stuff too…but I loved their food…yes gourmet is always better !!

If they are composed of various meats and seasoned well, I think they’re worth it.
What do you mean by gourmet? Like non-fast food?
I’ve found that some of the fast food chains have mastered the craft and make burgers better than the ones you’ll find at any restaurant. Roy Rogers and Five Guys are particularly good. Outside of that you can probably find an okay burger at any sports bar type of place. Ketchup and mayo is a very fancy option

I like a good burger and eat out a lot. Still. $20 Australian it would want to be a bloody good burger. Most decent meals out over here are are $15 or so. That would be median price of a decent meal and with a burger they’ll pad out the meal with heaps of chips/french fries.
So. Yes, but I’m not overpaying for a burger.

Oh, I’ve got it, Fuddrucker’s. That’s a sit down restaurant with gourmet-quality burgers. Do you have those where you live? They are so worth the extra price. A meal is like 10 or 11 dollars with a burger and fries, I get a quarter pound with cheddar and bacon. I can’t finish the third pounds anymore.
