I worked on wall street and lived in NYC for a year. I like the diversity, food and convenience
Its not that new anymore ![]()
@mangojuice When I lived in my auto in NYC. I often walked on Wall Street. Remember smoking a cigar next to the statue of George Washington on Wall Street. It was quite quiet there in evenings.
Never been there but itâs probably to busy and noisy for me with too many people. I like my little city
went as a kid. saw secret garden on broadway thats all. then in 2009 or so i vidited a friend for new years. wandered on the subway. went to one bar but he wasnt into it. had a beer. then he drank a bottle of cough syrup and the night ended. nice turkish breakfast the next morning curtosy of his mom.
i prefer Boston actually.
i went as a kid. i was unimpressed. i was unimpressed by everything though at that time
Been there 3 times to see bands: Elliot Sharp and Orchestra Carbon, Dr.Nerve, and Boredoms. It was OK, had some excellent Chinese food, traffic was impossible and parking was worse. Bands were amazing though. Two were at the old Knitting Factory, and one at Thread Waxing Space. Those were the days.
I thought about driving to NYC for a day, spending a day there I mean, back when I lived in Philly, but I never did. Oh well.
new york city just had an outbreak of monkey poxâŚdef wouldnât want to be there right now.
I havenât been there. I like the detective series NYPD Blue though. If they portray New York correct itâs busy and fast paced and full of crackers.
Iâd like to visit some time.
New York is a helluva town.
The Bronx is up and the battery is down.
And the people all ride in a hole in the ground.
