What do you put in your smoothie?

What are your best ingredients to a healthy but not gross tasting?

I don’t make smoothies but I would definitely include blueberries and turmeric.

Frozen mixed berries. Half a banana. Milk.

That is pretty much what I do but with yogurt and a few spices. Oh and whey powder.

Not a smoothie but yummers. Tomatoes, kale, peppers, carrots, hot sauce, salt, and various spices in my Ninja blender. :yum:

I have only ever had one smoothie. I got strawberries in it.

in my morning smoothie I either put 1.) 1 banana, 2 cups frozen blueberries, 1/4 cup hemp seeds, 1 cup vanilla almond milk, 1 cup water. or 2.) 2 cups frozen dark sweet cherries, 1/2 cup almonds, chocolate syrup to taste as much as needed, 1 cup vanilla almond milk, 1 cup water.

I alternate between blueberry smoothies. and cherry chocolate almond smoothies each morning.

I like it. I go for the vanilla sweetened ones. it’s fortified with vit. d so I get a little vit d. every morning. I don’t care for the unflavored ones though, my mom will buy plain almond milk and I don’t like it.

I would just use regular cow’s milk but after some years I finally figured out that the dairy was what was causing my occasional acne breakout. so I use almond milk instead.

I love my smoothie mix. It tastes good even with veggies, cause I use apple cider as the liquid part.
It has: a few leaves of kale, 5 baby carrots, 6 grapes, and a dozen blueberries. I put in enough apple cider to make it not too thick.
I woudn’t have thought a smoothie could taste good with kale, but I really like it. :slight_smile:
