I don’t see any good in religion. being spiritual is one thing but religious. no thanks.

I do not consider myself to be religious and am not a member of any religion.
The religions I know of don’t suit me and I don’t believe in them although I reccon they may have their beauty .
I was raised by then atheists.
I do believe in something and do believe in pray.for me but I don’t believe it’s nesassery.
But kind of easy going for me.n others yet can be … In good way.
I only pray sometimes.
I can pray for everyone and everything in some angle n format.
Even one I don’t like I seem to wish them well just want them at a distance from me and to stop being so malicious,jealous,bitchy etc to me.
I like to say thank you.
I do not say thank you if I don’t want to or feel like it but that’s understood .
I want to be appreciative and thankful but one can be so in silence also.

I think I usually say thank you to people n try having good manners n be polite.
I pray extra /more for loved ones.
I’ve prayed to meet someone compatible for marriage and also friends and family etc.
Usually it’s just saying thank you for food ,petrol etc and all I have to be thank ful for.
I think I could be anywhere,naked or dressed n in any position to pray.
I prayed when I was sick last week n weekend.
I think it helped cause I got to cry.
Can be form of release.

The USSR and Communist China were atheist regimes and they killed millions of people. People that want to kill will find a way to twist something toward that goal. The fighting and the wars are based also on political interests and protecting or acquiring assests of a given nation. The wars in the middle east from the stand point of the US can be said to be fought over oil not religion. The police killings in Dallas were because of anti-white anti-cop hatred from one individual. Most of the wars in the past that were fought over religion could just as easily been fought over different reasons.
The nation that is the aggressor could simply have an abundance of manpower or tech edge. The neighboring nation could be at a disadvantage militarily and have on strategic resource that would make them appear an easy target. Many more wars are fought for this reason. I would argue that religion is just the casus belli used. They would find another. Wars are fought because the aggressor thinks they have something to gain. I’m going to stop now at the risk of sounding more redundant.
Communism is yet another belief system that subsumes the individual to the dictates of a Greater Power. Amazing how all these belief systems get used to control others, innit?

lol, i didn’t mind the dates too much. on a sufficiently abstract level, political views don’t age very quickly anyway I think.
this thread was supposed to be about what people prayed for or would they like to pray for if they wished its turned in to something different, i personally dont see why everyone cant pray bc i thought praying was universal. its got nothing to do with power, race, country, religion, its more about letting things go and its supposed to be a way of coming together and sharing our thoughts on all sorts of matters for the greater good, whats wrong with that?
I thought it said Heimlich as in the Heimlich maneuver.
