What do you know about your birth?

Mum chose my birth date to be similar to hers. We are both born on the 25th. Mum in February, me in August.

My mom was 43 years old…coming off 5 miscarriages…she had a major blood clot…i had the umbilical chord wrapped around my neck

I know I was an induced birth. No complications. Was born on a rainy day in the afternoon. Mom says I came out eyes wide open, face up, just looking at everything, not crying.

I’ve never been much of a crier and I’m very curious naturally so it makes sense lol.

I don’t know much about my birth. My brother was 7 lbs. 6 oz. Dr. Neff spanked him (or was it me?) to make him cry, because he was quiet.

Premature by 2 months. My mother’s doctor told her to stop getting so stressed out (she was apparently in a stressful relationship with my abandoned-me-at-birth father). He specifically mentioned stress as a symptom my mother was having.

I hear schizophrenia can be sensitive to such early environmental factors as the stress level of the mother. let me find an article…here’s webmd’s article

I was born 6:15pm in the evening on 12 May 1984. As I am in the southern hemisphere, it was nearly winter and so after sunset. My mom said the weather was very stormy at the time. She was in labour with me all day. I was a big healthy baby.
