What do healthcare professionals think of people with schizophrenia?

My name is Laura Lewis, and I am a nurse and researcher at the University of Vermont. I am conducting a short (approximately 15 minutes), anonymous survey with an undergraduate nursing student, Stella Otis. We are seeking individuals who have been diagnosed with schizophrenia to participate in an online survey. The purpose of the research study is to learn more about interactions you’ve had with healthcare workers, your opinions about healthcare workers, how you believe you are seen by healthcare workers, and how any of these views and experiences impact the decision to seek medical care.

To protect your privacy, the information being collected will be without any identifiable information, so your participation is anonymous. Your participation is completely voluntary. Thank you for your consideration in participating in this research study.

Most universities use qualtrics as a survey platform. Better than survey monkey!

We approved it. This is a study on the perception of healthcare workers by people with schizophrenia. Since we all have stories of being discriminated against, this seems like a good way to counter those issues.

We need surveys about sz negative symptoms! Drs are ignoring these as there is no meds yet for these!
