What are your imports?

so I’m trying to cut down on the number foods I consume that don’t come from temperate regions. Stuff I can’t grow myself. Right now I have 7:

lemon, chili pepper, turmeric, green tea, gingko, maca, and quinoa. what are your imports?

What do you have against food originating in tropical regions?

I’m getting older and don’t need it, plus I have no plans of living there, for one, I hate snakes.

I’m trying to keep my imports to important things only

I’m thinking I could probably live without the quinoa and substitute a red wine, we only have Catawba and I love merlots and cabernets.

plus I wouldn’t touch the turmeric but I read it was supposed to help bean digestion, was thinking about trading for ginger root. I also read theres a Canadian ginger but never tried it. Has anybody tried the Canadian Ginger?
