Free, really? That’s right in my price range LOL. The fact there are different discs for different types of shots, is quite interesting. I never would have thought there was that much difference. But of course, I know nothing about it
I am getting my old car painted right now. Not doing it myself but I probably should have it would be done already.
lol, yep, can’t beat the price of admission for disc golf.
Another nice thing about it, is that it’s really a nonjudgmental sport. So if you suck like I do, no one is going to really judge you out on the course. It’s such a laid back sport. It attracts a lot of stoners and the like, lol. But it’s a great way to burn and hour or two outside, whether it be a woodsy-type environment, or more of an open field. Often times, courses contain both environments.

I don’t think College is a hobby or driving or coffee
You gotta watch smoking that meat. You could get carnivorinoma.
I’m glad to hear it’s a little more lighthearted than golf. Some of those guys get so wound up, it’s too intense LOL. I’ve only been golfing twice, but we were just there to get drunk and drive around in the cart LOL. No great competition there
haha yeah, much more lighthearted and laid back than golf. Not as stuffy either, with the country club type guys that go to golf courses. Disc golf is cool, man, you should maybe see if there is a course near you. You and some buddies would have fun
My hobbies include eviscerating Minecraft enthusiasts, urinating on public officials… actually, reading, playing guitar and bass, creating effects patches for guitar, recording said music, working on guitars, movies, listening to music
No doubt man. It sounds like a blast!! I should talk the guys in the band into going and trying that. We have two courses here close by.
I remember when we were kids, we would go collecting the balls that went over the fence into the swamp and selling them back to the golfers. We were like 10 or 12, but it was great money for chips and snacks
My partner knows how to knit (scarves mostly) do it it’s really relaxing
I would learn how to knit. Seems really relaxing. But I live in south Florida - what would I do with everything I make?
You could sell them on Ebay or something.
Or give them away to charity.
That’s true.

No doubt. I could see it almost being a form of meditation. I wonder if My Sister Knits, I could get her to show me how to do it. Hell yeah! I think I just realized what I’m doing this winter, LOL
Congrats on the new hobby! @Bowens
I like to do my own nails, road trip, clothes shopping and I also like to paint… but only if I have a vision of what I want to paint (which is very rare) i have been thinking about painting lately… but nothing has come to my mind of what to paint🤔
Thanks Human!

That would be awesome!! @TomCat . My buddy used to have an old Satellite, we worked on it for several Summers. Well, he worked on it while I made sure the beer stayed cold
Thanks. It’s unfortunate actually. My Dad died of Covid and left me a lot of projects to do by myself.
I was looking forward to doing them with him. He had two Nash Metropolitans but we sold those. I have this 50 Chevy, a 64 and a half Mustang convertible, an old Chevy pickup truck, 2 1970 Mustang convertibles, and a 57 Thunderbird kit car I am going to have to do by myself mostly. My brother in law wants the old pickup though so I probably won’t have to do much with that one.
@TomCat holy crap, you’ve got a great collection of cars.! I live by a little town called Norwood and they hold car shows at the fair every year so there are dozens and dozens of these really cool cars. There’s an old 1968 Corvette that’s my fav.
