Caffeine. In a big way. A long time ago when I was in the army I smoked for about a year and a half. I also dipped tobacco for a couple of years. I’m glad those addictions are over. I was also addicted to exercise a long time ago, but I got over that too.
cigarettes , my gal… and computer games. cigarettes I gotta quite and soon… I got COPD and asthma…
Which one do you want to become free of first?
I had a bad crack habit in the late 80’s for four years. I got clean and sober in 1990 by joining AA, CA, and NA. I haven’t touched drugs or alcohol since then. I guess you could say I’m addicted to being clean.
cigarettes, diet pop, and energy drinks. I have tried many times to quit smoking doesn’t happen
good question, I don’t even know…
chocolate , coffee, and this site (and other forum sites) are the only things I’m addicted to. I’m boring and bored
Opiates, cigarettes, and video games. I stay away from the opiates these days. Cigarettes and video games, not so much.
Vaping (nicotine). Sometimes I get a little bit addicted to a game but I’m glad when I do cause it I means I’m enjoying something.
Want to cut down on the vaping though, it is still a monthly bill… saves money yet a monthly bill.
Information. I have to constantly be exploring or learning about or how to do something. This is how I learned to cope with my scz and all of the things that fell apart in my life. It empowered me as you would expect, and so it is who I am now.
Good addiction, right?
Alcohol and psychedelics for psychoactive substances. I quit thc. Im also addicted to video games and tv. Im addicted to music. Porn and pleasuring myself tmi. Meat like burgers and chicken. Apple juice. Nicotine. The news. Facts about the world we live in. Youtube. Writing. And breathing air. Im glad im not addicted to twitter. That place sucks
“When your trying to fill a void instilled by the thrill of choice. There drugs.”
i used to be addicted to eating…i would binge like there was no tomorrow, and sometimes force myself to puke it back up. it still happens sometimes. i only ever admitted it to one therapist.
i also used to be addicted to cutting…i managed to break that habit though
Caffeine (especially coffee), under-eating, the Internet.
eating too much food looking at porn and masturbating (not simultaneosly)
I’m addicted to movies and chocolate. I’ve started taking niacin to feel the flush because I miss taking amphetamines. I drink non alcoholic beer and applejuice a lot.
I think just nicotine really. I vape almost constantly
tobacco mainly. no plans to quit.
Everything LOL they say is your glass empty or half full?
I drank the glass and WANTED MORE.
I’ve given up cannabis speed alcohol
Cigarettes now although that’s new
Food is the last one to conquer
How did you do it? Anything in particular or just healthier coping strategies ect?
the best thing ive found to help with it is to find distractions. whenever i thought of cutting i would put myself in a position where i simply cannot. it also helps that all the blades in the house got too dull to use…so thats something
