We are just hanging out at home. We will probably play some board games and maybe watch a movie. Then we will do the countdown at midnight.
I have no idea what kind of food we will eat. Maybe the kids will have ideas. What will you make?

I’m not doing anything. I have a fear of going out on New Years because of drunk drivers. But anyway I won’t even stay up until midnight this year because I don’t want to interrupt my sleep schedule. I’m in a really good pattern right now and I want to keep it that way.

Yep! I bought Waterford goblets for holidays. They are really pretty. Got a vase, too, and two crystal candle holders. I got all of this last year before Thanksgiving, and it makes me feel all fancy lol.

I might get a bottle of kahlua. Not sure yet. I think we are having spaghetti with garlic cheese biscuits. And of course chips and chocolate for the evening. My two eldest aren’t going to be here so it’s just me and the two youngest.

I go to bed early like every night. I’m a morning person. Currently my alarm is set to 4:45 am . Nice time to get up but I’m in bed by 7pm…
Sometimes I get woken up by fireworks or shenanigans but usually it’s all so quiet and I just wake up a year older…almost. Calendars are such strange things to an animal like human’s who know the abstract of time…
