What a crappy day 😤 it's all ok now though

I felt like being self destructive all day. Mainly in the form of drinking alcohol (I’m an 11 year sober alcoholic).

Everything is ok now though. But it was a pretty rough day.

Part of me wonders if it’s the fault of a new brand of generic Abilify I’ve started. Who knows…

Can you do something extra nice for yourself?
A special take away dinner or something…
Watch a feel good movie .

I saw a movie yesterday called the wog boy.
It’s so funny .
You should watch it and see if you enjoy it too .

I hear you! I had a crappy day, too, just literally stayed in bed all day except to feed the dog and take her to the bathroom. The depression is back and it’s making me feel lethargic and self destructive, but I’m not going to hurt myself and I’m not going to the hospital this time. This, too, shall pass…

That’s good.

But if it keeps up, you should tell your medical team for sure.

@everhopeful it could be the abilify just be careful?
I tolerated abilify for many years and then suddenly it started making me more compulsive spending and suicidal ideation.
You can never be too careful, let your cc know as well

[Generic medications must meet stringent requirements to ensure they are clinically equivalent to their brand-name counterparts. They must contain the same active ingredients, have the same strength, dosage form, route of administration, and use indications. Additionally, generics must be bioequivalent, meaning they perform similarly in the body. The FDA ensures quality and manufacturing standards are met through rigorous review and inspections. ]–AI Overview

I think everything is fine with your medication.

I also had a rough day.

Glad you were able to move through it and keep your sobriety intact.

Here’s hoping for a better tomorrow.
