I thought I went really crazy for life and was therefore suicidal. Knowing my diagnosis and being put on ap stopped my suicidal thoughts.

Vindicated. I had been diagnosed as a teen and no doctor believed I remembered it correctly because I was too functional.

it took me a while to grasp itā¦ at first it was like nothing happenedā¦ they had said it and i just kept doing like i had been doing cause i was really still much in the psychosis but then when the meds started to work i could grasp it eventually.
I was relieved when my pdoc diagnosed me with sza. If anything, it just confirmed what other pdocs had told me and what I had suspected all along.
