Yes, I was odd and different. I don’t need to provide the tons of evidence and examples, just take my word for it. But oddly enough I had normal friends and we did normal stuff. I did almost everything they did. They were a little braver and bolder than me but I jumped off the roof when they did, I went rock climbing, I swam way out in the ocean, I fought back when the three of us got jumped in the alley by three other 19 year olds.
My Achillies heel was girls. I wasn’t the smoothest talker or strong in the looks department with girls. But against all odds I got to fool around with a girl when I was 13 or 14. But I did all kinds of cool crap as a kid. And I did all kinds of cool crap after I got sick. But yeah, I didn’t talk to anyone I didn’t know when I was a teen. No one pointed it out until after high school.
It was normal for me not to talk but apparently some people had mentioned it to my two friends and they told me about it after we had graduated high school.
