Went to the doctor in July. My A1c was 14 then. Came back today and it was an 8. I guess I need to exercise more maybe drink more water to get it down to a 5, which is my goal. Still gotta take insulin though.
Good luck getting your A1c down. Exercise and watching the amount of sugar you eat can really help.
Congratulations on reducing your A1c from 14 to 8 in just three months! Whatever you’re doing keep on doing it.
It takes time, but you will reach your goal.
@catman @vinegar Thanks!. I had an idea of what it was sorta but hadn’t been back to the doctor to confirm. So far I’ve been eating a protein shake and fruit for breakfast but lunchand dinner is where I mess up though. Where I don’t eat enough and it raises my blood sugar or I binge eat. Dr. Says she’s gonna get me glp medication to help me lose weight. Right now I’m at 247.
Good job getting it down so much!
I hope you achieve your goal. I got my A1C down to 5, and am no longer on diabetes meds at all! It is possible to get off the meds for some people. I hope you can do it. Don’t give up! ![]()
Can you ask for Ozempic?
@zoa She recommended that but said she wanted to see if I kept my job to see if my insurance changes.
