My local beach area is just very small. It was still frozen. It has been unusually cold in this spring.

I live about 5min walk away from the beach. I love hearing the sound of the sea from my room, and smelling the salt in the air. I think it’s a privilege to be near a beach 
luckily with winter coming the beach is not so crowded anymore

I’ll be going camping soon with a couple of friends, there will be a beach nearby and we cant wait, its a long drive but it should be ok with a couple of stops and i have a massive tent

I live close to a beach but rarely go as it is always crowded and I have very bad social anxiety

My friend doesn’t go out much so it is good for him, my other friend that is coming is an alcoholic & diabetic but gets treatment for both, they both have mental issues and i asked my neighbour but she cant come due to fatigue despite wanting to come.
@anon97859349 I’m sorry you cant get out to your beach, i think the place i will be going isnt too crowded, its more fror a walk along the beach and forest trail that i will enjoy,
I’m hoping to see some really nice wildlife but wish i had a better camera bc my zoom on my phone is crap.

Me too.
I’m a ten minute drive from the beach but I don’t go often because there’s people there.
I avoid most people.
Sometimes I go to rock pool for dip and manage to stay half a hour that’s very nice when I can do that.
I stay in apartment most of the time.
I would love my own garden.miss having big garden/land to just be in .be yourself relax no people disturbing.

I am less than ten minutes from the beach. go sometimed. not like putting a blanket out on the sand though.

@daydreamer I hope that you have a nice time at the beach. I would love some time at a secluded beach. I don’t have access to one unfortunately. I used to take long walks on a secluded beach in college though. It was wonderful!
@SacredNeigh7 a private garden sounds nice too or a private dip somewhere. A private dip sounds excellent actually but I have nowhere like that here.

I was thinking of this the other day. My first poem (first two lines } when I was 12:
The sea is beckoning.as one ventures in. Swept up and swallowed…the sea. All must go in - all must begin. Not all return from the sea.
Me neither unfortunately.
I had some of the best moments of my life skinny dipping in a cheap $200 plastic pool in sa.
I felt at home for the first time in my life and like I was free to be myself.
Except uncomfortable when visitors came.
But him n dogs n was five acres of perfection of is.

Maybe one day we will get some space to be …
Space to yourself and me space to myself.
Maybe garden n vegetables and fruit trees and other delights would be heavenly.
House with garden or land is much better than apartments but the maintenance is much higher .
I’m not a very independent person so I need help with my living .
I rent a apartment.
It has a little balcony.

oh the days of living near the beach when I lived in florida…first panama city beach and then later fort walton beach…both on the panhandle of florida where there is white sand beaches…beautiful…hated the hurricanes…

The beach has poor sand and the mountains have rich dirt. I see myself as a dark rich soil.
