I went grocery shopping and other than a few people catching me mumbling to myself it went pretty well. My gift card was just enough with only $2.45 left on the card. I’d say that’s very good. Now I can go back to my grocery pickup and avoid stores completely. Yay!!

I get followed and recorded when I go out so I don’t like going anywhere. Unfortunately I think there’s also cameras in my home

Me too pianogal! I feel I’m followed when on a bus. You know people sitting awkward in their cars. Looking at the bus. Anyway, glad you had a good day fatmama.

Companies love you using their gift cards for two reasons.

They get the cash up front.

More often than not there is a small amount like your $2.45 left on the card that is never used. You times that amount by 100,000 or so customers, and these companies are just raking in that extra dough…to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars in many cases.

I do grocery delivery. Used to go shop in the middle of the night. Covid19 squashed the open 24/7.

Whenever I babysit the boys I help myself to an ice cream from their freezer
