I ordered cans of beans online. They were $4.57 each. I thought they were big ole cans of beans and that was a good price for a big ole can of beans. Well when they got here they were bigger than my head. So I made a big ole pot of ground turkey chili and cornbread muffins to eat on for the next couple of days. Nothing wrong with that. I added up the cost of everything that went into that pot of chili and those cornbread muffins, including the cans of tomatoes and the eggs and oil, it cost a little over $10 to make it. Feeding 3 adults at least 2 meals for around $10 should get me some kind of award I think.

At the food pantries we sometimes get big cans of stuff like that. I have 1 can of tomatoes my daughter uses as a stepstool, lol. I doubt I’ll ever use it.
