Weirdest food combos you have made/tried

I’m greedy, weird and unhealthy af so don’t judge me but the weirdest food combos I have made and tried are:

  • Two slices of bread with a 100g chocolate bar between them… microwaved of course

  • A jar of nutella with mini kitkat bites mixed in (ate the whole thing with a spoon) (how do I not have diabetes?)

  • Celery with cheese in the middle…microwaved…it made me feel

  • Tomato soup with crisps (chips for Americans) mixed in. That was :+1:t3:

  • Baked beans with sushi… sooooo good!

Edit: Also, once I tried putting yogurt into my coffee….never again!!!

Ice cream with hot sauce? Was convinced hot sauce was good on everything, and Ice cream was my favorite food at the time but man it was nasty… I think I was 13.

I always put tomato sauce or salsa on my salad. My mom thinks I’m weird.

Do they put mayonnaise on salads in the UK? Because here we put Caesar vinaigrette ranch etc. dressing not mayonnaise LOL :joy:

And I can’t stand salad dressing because it has vinegar (which I don’t like). Plus it has a ton of fat and tomato sauce and salsa don’t

Yeah a lot of people do!

Especially pre-made salads in supermarkets… they are literally 70% mayonnaise

When I went visiting my hometown… I went out with a good friend of mine and between meals, she asked the waiter for a new plate because it was not cool to mix food like salad with rice etc in the same plate :unamused:

I am not sure…

I like to eat hallumi cheese when I make romano beans in tomato sauce. (I actually ordered it today from the grocery store)

I love to put a can of tuna in my shells and cheese.

Is that weird?

What are shells? :stuck_out_tongue:

LoL. Sorry, I thought that might be a little foreign to my English friends.

They’re big noodles, similar to a macaroni noodle.

Here in America the grocery stores sale shells and cheese. It’s similar to macaroni and cheese, but I think it taste better. And it doesn’t require milk or butter. All ya gotta do = boil the shells and add the cheese!

When I was pregnant,

I really wanted some macaroni salad, which is weird because I don’t like macaroni salad, I also don’t know how to make it.

After googling the recipe, it was clear I did not have any of the necessary ingredients, but I was determined.

I subbed the elbow noodles for straight spaghetti, the mayo for miracle whip, and I didn’t have any of the other many things the recipe called for so I just put a bunch of chopped up pickles in there and mixed it up.

Somehow, I ate the entire bowl. All of it. ALL OF IT.

Immediately upon realizing what I had done, I got sick. Right back into the giant bowl.

I cried and called my husband home from work, when he got there, I was still crying and holding a bowl full of vomit.

Anyway,

I now can’t even stand to look at macaroni salad, and hate miracle whip.

Just telling this story makes me feel gross.

I’m a gross person…

Cravings can make you do strange things!

I once ordered spaghetti bolognaise in a restaurant as it was my favourite meal, but there was a MASSIVE long hair in the dish. I didn’t eat spaghetti for about a year after that!

Really? :astonished:

To be fair, I think pineapple fritters are quite nice!
