I dreamed that I went to pick up groceries at Walmart when I opened the trunk and there was a dead body inside so I got the groceries put in the back seat, went home to unload the groceries and then went to the police station. I woke up after that.

That’s weird. But in your dream you handled it well.
Almost every time I go to sleep I am awoken by a bad dream. Last night I was awoken by a dream that made me wake up laughing. I dreamt I was a cute, little, fluffy, round, penguin and I was nudging this long golden penguin and the other cute little fluffy penguins were saying something about me believing in love.
