Waited so long to call to get my food stamp card replaced

This means I should have a bunch of food stamps because it stacks each month? Or is there a cap? I’m hoping for the former

I don’t know. Call the agency who gives them to you and ask.

I was under the impression that I don’t qualify for food stamps because I get SSI. Isn’t that true?

No you do, for me at least. Depends whether your ssi goes toward your rent or not. If you put 500 dollars of your ssi toward your rent, you’ll get like 200 dollars in food stamps

Here in the states, my son is only getting $110 per month for his food card.
For some reason, he is putting off trying to get a new one.
I waited 23 minutes on line and never got a live person to speak to.
