Which is better, Waffle House or IHOP?
I’m looking for a place to get coffee and breakfast in the morning and do a little reading.
I’ve never been to either.
- IHOP

Waffle house by far, but I have fond memories of that place from when I lived on Tennessee. Greasy, sloppy, smothered, and covered.
IHOP is good too, but waffle houses has some darn good waffles.
The one person I asked said the same. He said it is better and also that it is greasy.
I vote Waffle House. Last few times I ate at IHOP, I could practically feel my teeth crunching on sugar - their food is way too sweet for me. I always feel half-sick when I finish eating at IHOP. Alas, there is no Waffle House where I live.
Never eaten at Waffle House, but IHOP is where I go when I want my pancakes cold and my orange juice hot.
In all seriousness, the only appeal to IHOP is that it’s open 24 hours a day. If you want a good breakfast from a chain restaurant, try Bob Evans.
Best pancakes I know of come from a bar in Springfield, VA called Moe’s Peyton Place.
IHOP the one in my town closed unfortunately
I hear good things about Waffle House. Course I’m a country bumpkin so never been to either.
around here the waffle houses are crank head headquarters…ihop is probably the same…here…I would say ihop.
I love IHOP
The burgers are pretty good too
