Vermont, new hampshire, louisiana, hawaii, and alaska

are the states i’ve yet to visit in my travels. actually i went to vidalia, louisiana on new years eve, we crossed the mississippi river and drove around for 20 minutes, then headed back north, but i don’t count that as visiting because i was only there for 20 minutes. at the least i would like to see all the lower 48 states someday.

also a couple places in the northeast i only saw from the amtrak train like rhode island and deleware, so maybe i will go back and check them out via car or bus. most of what i’ve seen has been in my car, or by greyhound. so mostly interstates.

my favorite states are colorado, michigan, and north carolina, but there are lots of great places in this country, i also like coastal northern california all the way to seattle washington, but it doesn’t get quite enough sun for me to live there. i really like the redwoods.

it seems the weather has always cooperated when i was sight seeing, most of the time i travel in the summer. so i’ve never really experienced the dreary weather of some places like oregon or michigan.

Isn’t Vermont on the border of Canada? We used to go shop there as its cheaper than Canada and no taxes. We pay 15% tax here in Quebec, Canada.

I thought that is the toughest quiz ever. What do this places have in common ? They are in America, but that is not the answer we are looking for.

We also went shopping in Woodbury, US. Lots of big brands outlets, cheaper than Canada and no tax. I got Polo shoes and Adidas shoes for 18$ each. Here they cost 80-100$CA. Also got Polo polos for 20$ each. Here they cost 100-120$. Back then 1$US=1$CA.
