Update on the cat that lives under my front porch

She’s microchipped! Her name is Louise and she’s 4 years old and is spayed. However, I was warned they might not want her. She’s not showing up on typical sites for missing pets. But, the vet is trying to reach the owners. In the meantime, she’s back under my porch

If she’s microchipped there’s a good chance they’ll want her back.

That’s what we’re hoping for. The vet called the registered owner. We’re waiting to hear back. The only bummer is there’s no missing cat on the regular databases online showing a cat by that name and age missing in our area. However, she might be from further away. @jukebox @everhopeful

Hopefully her original owners will take her back.

If not maybe you can ask family or friends if they want a feline addition to their family!

Or maybe you could keep her yourself?

Especially if she’s an outdoor cat

She wants in the house. I’m severely allergic so that’s a no-go. I’ve already asked around and no one can take her.

But, there’s a rescue I finally found after searching for 4 months, that will help me find her a home if the original owners don’t want her.

Thanks @Happy_H . She gets along with my dogs when I take them outside and she’s super friendly and affectionate so I’m hoping for a happy ending
