I am currently still struggling with delusional thinking and self harm thoughts but I’m lucky enough to have insight still. I had my appointment with my psychiatrist yesterday. I was previously on 10mg of olanzapine. They bumped me up to the max dose of 20mg. I’m hoping it helps me out more. And I’m currently trying to reduce my stress. I’ve been super stressed out recently.

20mg is the max dose according to the manufacturer but it can go much higher. I was on 40mg for 15 years and when i was in the mental health facility a guy there knew another guy that was on 50mg. My psychiatrist told me about a patient that was on 80mg.

Hopefully it works. I tend to take the highest possible doses of APs. But it doesn’t stop what’s going on with me so that’s frustrating
