We are having the third typhoon this summer. This time the typhoon is called Lark. It is attacking the Lower Delta of Yangzi River. Since last night the wind and rain from the sea have kept coming. The temperature now is below 30 degrees Celsius.
green5, i hope you are safe and your family
sounds unbelievably scary i’m sorry
Thanks a lot for your concern. The city I live in is 300 miles away from the coast. So when the Typhoon arrives in my city, its power usually has been reduced quite a lot. So we are pretty safe from this destructive nature power. @Thanna
that is good to hear green5
still pretty cold
@green5 Southern China also has typhoons during this season but none have approached the Pearl River Delta this year that I know of. The cooler temperatures from the typhoon are much better than the scorching heat when there is no typhoon.
Hang in there @green5 . We don’t get typhoons but we get tropical lows and cyclones. My cricket club in the city is on a tidal creek. We’ve been flooded out 3 times in the last 15 years I’ve been helping out. I go down early and we lift up all the furniture and stuff. It really is a pain but it’s a real concern…
Much love and peace your way and hope it’s all good in your neck of the woods!
