He had learned a different language, a different way of acting, and a different way of regarding humanity living in that other World in his head. As the drugs slowly made him more aware of the World outside he realized that 30 years had gone by and he no longer understood it. He acted strangely and wrong to it and they restricted what he could do in it and that they were afraid of him. So on the 30th anniversary he looked at his phone and noticed no one on it but relatives, doctors, and therapists. He realized for the first time in 30 years that no one knew what he was thinking and he didn’t know what they were thinking, that reality was only seen on TV and was incorrect. So he sighed, opened the door and walked out uncertainly into the real World. Walk on and be brave.
