Trying a new AP. Vraylar

Hi,

I went to my pdoc today and he gave me samples of Vraylar to try instead of Haldol. Does anyone have any opinions about Vraylar?

It’s my favorite medication.

It gave me dystonia.

have some benztropine around, in case of dystonia??

and propranolol, for akathisia??

My favorite AP too. I don’t feel like a zombie like I did on Abilify. I feel some emotions still. I do get some breakthrough symptoms under stress though.

@Borath can tell you about Vraylar I believe.

Hi, saw my name. Vraylar is okay, I guess. I still have some positive symptoms, esp voices and music from white noise. These get worse with greater stress. Also, my neg symptoms still are what they are. If you try it, it can take two mos to begin working. Hope for the best.
