I didn’t understand why I was hospitalized with very sick people. As far as I was concerned I was an angel and I would be wary of anyone touching me or getting close. I was scared their madness might be catching. I would stand in front of the nurse’s station with my black hoodie pulled over my head. I would just stare at the nurses.
