The Falkirk Wheel is a rotating boat lift in central Scotland, connecting the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal. The lift is named after Falkirk, the town in which it is located. I used to work on at a canal side pub a couple of miles from my house.
Stoke Bruerne is a small village and civil parish in South Northamptonshire, England about 10 miles (16 km) north of Milton Keynes and 7 miles (11 km) south of Northampton.

ā it is so interesting and such beautiful scenery and such a low-key relaxed lifestyle, traveling the canals throughout the UK in a narrowboat. I find the lock system in these canals so fascinating, as well as the tunnels and aqueducts.
