Anyone here have voices because of trauma my psych says i do but i dont think so my voices talk about things am doing or saying does trauma voices do that too
anyone like that …i hear voices telling me to self injure or to hurt myself but nothing about the past i do have flashbacks but its not of anything i do or say they just are from the past

Hi there! I have BPD and there’s argument between my diagnoses (personally I think it’s closer to C-PTSD than BPD). I think there’s a lot of misdiagnosis of BPD over SZ when SZ is clearly more the case.
I think prodormal stages of schizophrenia can look a lot like bpd if you have ptsd as well.
Was the case for me.
Within a couple years of being diagnosed w bpd and having little therapy I grew out of those behaviors and started getting intense negative schizo symptoms.
In that grey area of those diagnoses is very frustrating. But keep advocating for yourself, get a second opinion if necessary.
