Large, killer tornados are starting again this year. One in Mississippi killed 19 people. That kind of death toll used to be unheard of, but there were tornados that killed well over a hundred people a few years ago. I live in Oklahoma, and Oklahoma is known for its tornados. Most of the bad tornados are hitting central Oklahoma. Two F5 tornados hit Moore, Oklahoma a few years ago. The odds against an F5 tornado hitting twice in the same place are astronomical. One of those tornados destroyed 7,000 houses and killed 47 people. It had the fastest winds ever recorded on earth. If things keep going this way there should be a good market for tornado shelters. That’s mercenary, but practical.

I have a friend who was a teacher in Moore when that happened.
His story is horrific.
Things I never would have thought of were a waking nightmare for him.
Such a sad, sad event.
