How many of you have relatives or yourselves with tic disorders? I have only met myself with both tourette’s and sz. The meds for tourette’s is the same as for sz.

First its a seizures post I can relate to, then its this lmao. Im so prone to neurological issues…
Thankfully there was only one isolated incident where I was havin tics so bad that my head would yank to the side and my shoulders would shoot backwards. I used to have a video on youtube of it, but I got really paranoid and deleted my account one day.
The only other time I had tics, was after a two week binge on research chemicals and me and her had neck and facial twitches for a month. We swore off research chemicals for good after that. NOT WORTH IT.
But then again, my mom did tell me that I’m constantly twitching my head to the side and I’ve never noticed it before. She might have been lying, but I doubt it.
Meds and poison can cause tics. Tourette’s syndrome means you have to have both vocal and physical tics. It usually starts at 6-7 years of age. Mine started at 4 years old. I remember the kids pointing at me and laughing and asking why I twitch like that.
The meds they put me on when I was 7 because I didn’t like school eventually began to cause tics but these were not permanent…I’m worried about my niece now as she dislikes school as well and her mom already has her going to therapy…she isn’t on meds yet and if they do this I’m going to throw a fit…I don’t think a lot of this stuff is sane at all.

I sometimes act a little tourette’sy. Like I will repeat things I find amusing, and they are usually offensive. Is that autism or tourettes?
