Thoughts on Russian Air Strikes in Syria?

It’s different, I liked it a lot. I was born there, moved to europe in my teens.

My view is that China is in the partnership with the USA and has been so for the long time, the USA may be the biggest importer of Chinese made goods, China owns a lot of debt the USA has had to take in the past 10 years. I think that China remains to be peaceful in all ways. There was a time in my life in the end of the 1990s when I lived in America when the Kissinger ambassador program invited me to be a member of their program and meet Henry Kissinger in China, but I had to pass that at that time. Maybe it was a mistake I regret now.

The problem with Russia is they have a deep-rooted culture of violence. They do not respect kind leaders, they respect strong, aggressive leaders. Just look at how they treat people they deem do not fit in with the rest of their society (e.g. gay people and disabled people). They are also as a people very accepting of propaganda and lies. So when their beloved Putin supports one of the worlds worst tyrants with air strikes, they see that as a good thing. It serves their interests, it shows they are strong and it is an aggressive act towards the West which they have been taught to hate.

You’re probably right. In Europe there’s a lot of dual thinking about that “pro-west, anti-russia” “pro-russia, anti-west”… I believe things fit best on more of a grey area.

Wow that’s genius, I never saw that.

Yes, but a bit passive agressively. They are conquering through economics. They’re buying every bankrupt company lol

That might just be a by-product of success though.

Sure it is. But its happening. And they have strong bonds with Russia. “Let others play the dirty tricks of war, we keep buying them out”

I think we should stick to facts and credible sources. We should shy away from conspiracy theories. There is so much junk out there.

Syria is neighbouring Turkey, which means Europe isnt far away. It is imperative that I S doesnt get Syria. We dont want those insane morale values near Europe. On the other hand I believe I S strength in the midlle east is a symbol of a very destabilized region, although I gues Iran and some of the gulf states are equally fundamentalist. Refugees are flooding europe, many which are willing to die for the cause. It highlights the moral differences between these countries and europe.

I think accepting refugees is a bad idea, Although it has good intentions. They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. How many refugees will end up committing crimes, become extremists, and will end up on welfare? I mainly care about the USA. We will be accepting 100,000 or so from what I’ve read. Will we be safer as a nation? Who will provide for these people? Will they end up homeless or on welfare? I can’t imagine them getting jobs over here.

That’s because you’re viewing them as a swarm of refugees, not as people. All of them are people. They have seen so much violence that they are willing to risk their lives to get away from it. Why would they want to cause even more violence?

Most of the refugees who survived have only survived because they had money. We are getting upper middle class people who have marketable skills and who had been gainfully employed. They are able bodied, or else they never would have made it out. And they are willing to take whatever jobs they can find. That is really good for our economy.

I thought we have already discussed that - Noone is gonna tell anyone to COME OFF MEDS or TAKE MEDS.

Guess some people never learn.

I didn’t say meds. I said help. Whatever form of help works best for you, but you need help.
