Yeah think you are right. Wish I had my old nurse - he was great. We are going to meet up socially for a coffee (he has retired now). How nice is that!
Thatās quite concerning did you text or leave a voicemail?
All my doctors Iāve had ignore my calls and texts theyāre suppose to help ya
Yeah. Left a message each time. J
I have an idea- Do you think is there any other channel to contact your nurse? E.g. e-mail, Facebook, Whatsapp
No. they intentionally force you to phone the office and speak to the receptionist. They used to give you their own work numbers but now you get the receptionist.
Oh, I seeā¦That is a difficult situation.
Over the course of having schizophrenia for 35 years I have OFTEN seen mental health workers who are so obviously in the wrong field that it boggles the mind.
A list of some of the typical faults:
One: zero empathy
Two: flat out ignorance about how to treat patients
Three: abrasiveness to the point of ridiculousness
Four: the myriad of workers who needed more help than me.
Five: Picking on certain patients unmercifully.
And to paraphrase Sonny and Cher: " The list goes on". (āThe beat goes onā is the lyric by the way).
Well got no reply today. This is ridiculous. Am not going to let it upset me but am going to ask to change nurses. My faith in her has gone.
Move that nurse out of your way, Iāve replaced 2 key workers! and 2 therapist! And completed ditched upcoming therapy with another two, because Iām happy that Iāve no self control around people who I feel are biased and incompetent and donāt have only best of my interest, no shame in doing so, look out whatās best for your mental state.
dude, why would you use the b-word like that?
what if that nurse was my spouse?
Apologies @sirBoring - was angry at the time.
In the way back machine, I used to see my psychiatrist once a month.
Then, they hired a nurse I was supposed to see two out of three times I went.
I had problems with the nurse. When I finally brought it up with the doctor, he knew she was a bad experience for a lot of his folks. She got moved out.
