Things to do while babysitting

I’m watching my brothers kids Friday morning. They’re 11 and 9. What are some fun things I can do with them? Preferably indoors. They don’t live in a great neighborhood.

They hide. You seek, and take your time finding them

I loved hide and seek.

Play some Scooby Doo after that on the tv

Oh man, I am terrible with this kind of thing. Just watch TV, play video games if they got that… maybe bring some art supplies if you got any? Bake something with them?

I have no clue :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: just throwing out ideas

9 and 11 can probably entertain themselves. A deck of cards works.

You’re never too young to learn how to play poker and blackjack. Play for a penny a bet.
Bake cookies, you can find a million recipes online.

I think a lot of free streaming services like TubiTV have a kids section on their app.

Play some videogames with them. Like a racing game.

These are all great ideas, I’ll offer them up to the kids and see what they want to do. Thank you everyone💜

I tried that with my niece a couple of years back and just got started at. I had to explain what they were and what they were used for. Really.

Update: We ended up going to Starbucks and then 5 Below. Then doing some origami from I book a brought. It was a good time.

you could tent the couch area with a sheet and play mid evil knights and kings
or play cowboy and indians … the tented coach can bei either a castle or a fort or a tent for indians…

You could also play hide and seek with objects / each other carefully.

You can play I spy with my little eye game.

You and play imagine this game … where you pretend your super heroes and make up the story as you go.

You can have a sing along.

Extra… or do coloring pages and arts and crafts…
