She’s always stoned to the gills with alcohol or heroin or something, but I’ve heard her a couple of times saying very loudly, “Why do they even let him in here?”, or “Why doesn’t he just go?” If I thought she had a realistic chance of getting me kicked out of these stores I would be angry about it, but as she is now I can empathize. I’ve pulled some pretty good ones when I was gone on alcohol too. If she ever sobers up she is going to cringe when she remembers this.
