Would be a schizophrenic getting schizophrenia.
I don’t follow. Isn’t that impossible? Like a pregnant woman becoming pregnant?
I’ve been schizophrenic for 35 years. I’ve never hallucinated but sometime I worry that I might start hearing voices.
I hallucinate being normal sometimes.
if you’ve never hallucinated or heard voices you are very lucky
I’ve hallucinated in every way possible, except touch, but I’m still thankful I don’t have voices.
I was diagnosed a few months ago. It’s truly inspiring to hear stories of people who have made a life for themselves in the face of everything we deal with. To know that you have forged a life of courage, optimism for others, and, above all, wisdom inspires me to do the most that I can with my life. It’s tough to worry that your symptoms might evolve over time to include hallucinations, but I think that I speak for everyone when I say that this online community will always support you and be grateful for your measured, helpful contributions.
You’ll know if and when it happens. If you start laughing at my jokes, that will be a sign you’re hallucinating.
Thank you very much for writing that. Other people have told me that I inspire them and I’m always happy to hear that. Having schizophrenia is tough , but many of us can carve out a life for ourselves. Have a good night.
Me too, Csummers
I fear this too
i love spongebon
I haven’t hallucinated that much, but God have I ever been delusional. I have heard things, but not seen things. When I do hallucinate it is usually pretty spectacular.
The worst thing in the world for me is doing something you don’t want to do but are forced to do.
Deficit schizophrenia is definitely the worst thing ever happened to me. So far.
I can think of a lot of pretty bad things, but I won’t mention them because it would bum people out.
