By the year 2495 genetic testing could well predict with 80% accuracy what a kid’s profession would be. But predictions made by a tester in 2496 were 99% inaccurate. Yet after being let go for a number of years the man was rehired. He was asked “What happened?”. He said, “Well environment can still mess the equation up so I called some children who were destined to succeed big in life things like pimps, gang leaders, mafia hitman, and strippers because I saw their parents weren’t even trying with their previous siblings and so I gave them an incentive to prove me wrong by offering to refund part of the fee if I was inaccurate. I also did that to parents of kids who were destined for bad things by predicting good things even though they had obvious flaws and offered the discount if they proved me right. So the parents tried harder and the real predictions I made improved the accuracy. You see parents and loved ones still matter.” So I hugged the child of my relatives and told her she was OK and tried a little harder to make it so.

Things like severe schizophrenia, and gifted tendencies are high end genetic producers. Things like having the best of everything, murders of close relatives, or extreme child abuse are high end examples of nurture or lack of it. Everything else is in-between.
