The voices, how do you tell

If they are real or not? It had probability been asked a million times. The internal ones I’m sure of but the external voices are coming from all directions.

If you here other people talking besides yourself than it is not you, it is the Schizophrenia. You know your own mind when you think it is quite, just your mind, but if you hear other voices, than it is your illness. You must be able to distinguish between the two… it is tricky at first, because it seems so real, like you are having a conversation with another person in your brain but they are not there… You actually believe it, or can believe that somehow you are a telepathic, and can talk to people, have conversations with people who are not there talking to you. You need medication! You also need to discuss with your psychiatrist, but most of all stop yourself when you find yourself doing this, it is very tricky and difficult to do, because it seems so real… find real people and have real conversations with them instead… Are You Lonely??? I am guessing that you are lonely, and do not have other people to talk to, but maybe not… Also, are you using any illegal drugs, or alcohol, including cannabis? They might be your biggest problem, along with the loneliness… good luck, and God Bless ~ Michael

All my voices are external. Have you tried invega before? Might have asked you this already, I forget

the internal ones seem more real. they are real entities in your head. the external ones can be considered as hearing mistake. but the internal ones are always here controlling your mind.

Maybe the ■■■■ is normal and we are crazy for thinking it isn’t. So use focusing on it is making it occur more.

Plug your ears, if you still hear them like before they are fake.

Hey my neighbor is cussing me out and replying to me talking to myself.

That’s just a hearing mistake, take these meds

External or not, If they call you “hoe” or something like that, they are surely fake
There is no reason for anybody to call you that, even more so if they seem to do it repeatedly.

Have you ever got that talking in your breath that isn’t yours? Like you’re busy working or something and you look down and notice “where is this garbage talk coming from”

My voices are destinct.

I can tell they’re in my head because I’m familiar with the way the speak and the language they use,

Although it can still be difficult sometimes,

Especially when I hear my name, I feel like I always respond somehow and it makes me feel bad.

I think earplugs would be helpful.

The only voices I hear that sound human are from the crowd of people in the next room. Since it sounds like a group of people and it’s muffled so I never know what they’re saying, it’s doesn’t feel upsetting.
All others are 1 angel and the rest are demons. I’m not convinced that they’re not real, but even at the scariest times my reaction is to rebuke the demons because that’s what the Bible says to do…I feel lucky in that sense, because what I hear is “documented” and what to do is illustrated. My companion angel is the hardest to deal with, but I’m even improved on that. He isn’t nearly as persuasive as he used to be…
I can believe in my voices as part of my religion… I really think that’s helped me to cope, although I admit that it has also perpetuated my delusions…mixed bag I guess.
I think it’s much harder on people like my son who hears human voices and sees human figures and he’s left to decipher between real humans and hallucinations. He says that when he’s alone it’s easier because he remembers that he’s alone, and when he’s around other people, he looks for the already present people’s reaction. No reaction, not real. It’s way more complicated for him.
I do think that after a time you “get to know your characters” so to speak. At least mine have been really consistent. That makes it easier too.

I just feel as if my voice is somehow heard over frequency that is ran in a grid like way. And people talk back to me. But also had what seemed like someone mocking another person’s voice. Unless somehow our voices can carry over the internet for thousands of miles against our agreement. But this would void privacy and many other laws you’d think. But also alot of laws are for “recording” not streaming or broadcasted .

But how would ear plugs

It would be nice to not be constantly getting responses to what I’m thinking. I think “loudly” But that is due to all the tension and all the jive.

I don’t drink or do any of that. No I’m not lonely. Abilify just kicked in a few days ago.

I’m used to the internal voices now that so much the external ones. They are so distant and low I don’t know how I hear them.

My entity talks to me and I know it is real. He’s been talking to me for too long not to know that He is real. And He is too right on target. And He helps me. Sometimes, He is scary though. But, it remains to be seen whether or not He is right.

@Skinnyme1 you can test your voice to see how real he is. Honestly he doesn’t know any more than you do or think already. Try getting driving directions from him. I did this early on and realized that while they said they could give me directions they really couldn’t. Funny memory though

Hi, Sorry, I did not mean to imply that you drank or was lonely, I was just making a list of possibilities. I am glad to hear that your medication is starting to work. Same with me, I have gone many months hearing voices, and I was not drinking or using drugs… I did not know at the time that I had schizophrenia, so I was not taking medication.

Nice meeting you, I hope you have a great weekend.
