I was just thinking of Darwin’s theory of evolution and the Galapagos finches. I didn’t realize there was a recent news story you were referring to. 
BTW, I’ve been to the Galapagos—it’s beautiful.

Flew from mainland Ecuador to the Galapagos and then traveled by boat between the islands.
