What medication are you taking?
More hunger which led to eating more.
I believe some of the medicines can raise your blood sugar and prolactin levels, which also contribute to weight gain. When I was on Risperidone, I threw up almost every meal and I still gained thirty pounds.

Some also slow digestive motility - probiotics can help set things right again.
I have too much hunger and I eat too much, my metabolism also has slowed down with Risperdal.
My answer: I didn’t gain that much of weight. Anyways, the reason must be the medicine itself because it didn’t make me eat more food. Probably some chemicals inside the meds had something to do with my weight
