I guess if it is confirmed to work in mice the next step will be producing a drug that utilises it to be tested on humans. Lot of shots at goal miss the target but unless you are shooting at the goal there’s no chance of scoring.
All I and others can do is report things as we find them.It’ is hard keeping the faith when there are so many dead ends but what else can you do? Give up?

Great news! If this drug begins trials in humans next year (2018) how long will we have to wait for the whole process?
