To find a normal job to afford bills. I was studying but the voices through my tv and in my head wanted to show up when I was having innovative ideas which decreased my chances at grant proposals drastically in my opinion.

Well I recovered 95% from positive symptoms but 0% from negative and cognitive symptoms. I hope they’re not from permanent brain damage…Some studies says so but not convincing.

I’ve been there where goals weren’t even n my mind. What do u have a passion about. Music? Nature? Maybe knowing what u live will ignite some goals. Pursue what u live.

I was one of the lucky ones from the perspective that I neve had voices. But with meds I’ve heard that the voices can decrease. Also, be gentle with
yourself and give your self time to get to the point where you can start the process of recovery. Maybe getting a part time job would help.I did a job of hanging clothes for 5 years but I was out there making some extra money and getting back into a schedule every day. Go after what ever you want bro But I found just hanging out and letting our minds atrophy doesn’t work.

I hope there’s no brain damage too. Probably not. Way to go in recovering 95 percent. What do you do with you spare time?

Browse here, vape with coffee, talk videochat with friends and play PC video games with or without them, listening to music, watching youtube videos about computer components, upgrading and assembling my gaming PC, talk with family and visitors. That’s all. But I can’t work.

I live with my parents, I am 30 y.o. and unable to live on my own.

What about working n the gaming field. I’m not really up in hat’s available n this area but I’m sure there’s something. It sounds like you’re staying busy so that’s good. But I found that I needed something to do outside my apartment. I got extremely bored. So I worked at acatore. That git old so I moved on from there after I got some experience. I bet u could do something similar.

That’s cool. I’m just wondering what u have a passion for. And maybe incorporating that into your life so u can make some extra bucks.

I just started getting my passion back for living, so just enjoying life is a good thing. All the little stuff.
My big long game goal is to get a core skillset in software engineering.

While on Abilify I was able to work up to a month.
I quit like 10 jobs after a week to a month. The longest, a month, was a video game tester for Keywords Studios. I worked with VR games, Oculus VR connected to a computer. I got stressed, bored and paranoid after a month so I quit on my own. Abilify gave me addiction issues at the same time.

No more addiction issues on Risperdal but my negative symptoms are much worse than Abilify. I stay in bed most of the time. I never get out of my house, my parents house and feed me, they get my meds too. I think now I am better than when I was on Abilify eventhough my negative symptoms are worse.

Right on? That sounds to me like a great goal.
