The McDonald's quarter pounder burger

Those things were 49 cents when I was in high school,

We could get a bag of burgers, gas in the car, and weed for $20.

This is me getting old, right now…

I have noticed inflation in a lot of things, especially in clothes and food.

I want to order this nice coat, but it’s 50 dollars!

It’s a grey top coat and it’s perfect for the winters here.

I’m just trying to talk myself out of it.

You should probs splurge on the coat.

Don’t you live in the Midwest?

Its cold there…

Or you could move to California,

I don’t even have a heavy coat!

Haha  That would be pretty rad (living in California).

Yes I do live in the M/W.

I’m looking at one on Amazon right now.

I forget how expensive they are,

My sister in New York got a new coat last year and it was outrageous expensive,

Like a few hundred dollars.

She got it in a nice sky blue color and her first day on the subway with it it got stained in several different places,

Poor thing.

Awwww bummer!

That’s why I buy all my coats in grey or black.

It’s easier to match up my wardrobe that way.

I got my eye on a grey top-coat on amazon. The other one was on old navy’s website, and it didn’t look too high of quality.

Old Navy stuff is a risk,

Some stuff is good, some, not so much.

On coats I wouldn’t take the risk,

If its bitter cold outside, you need a good one.

Ha! I always buy fleece jackets at Old Navy. That’s cause I like the cheap. Of course, since I live in California, it’s not like I’d freeze if the zipper broke.

Haha!

Yeah, unfortunately a fleece alone wouldn’t keep you to warm in these harsh mid-west winters. :snowflake:

I just ate a quarter pounder… but reading through this thread…makes me want another… i was uncontrollably salvating… McDonald’s knows some sort of food alchemy magic… or its just addictive…

Hahaha!

Yeah I warmed up my second one for dinner hours ago. I want another one now too.

I think they’re onto some kind of food alchemy

I don’t often have McDonald’s or Burger king as they are usually too crowded for me. When I do though McDonald’s wins by a country mile.

Ohhh now you made me hungry. And I don’t have money for food for another 4 hours cries
But to add to the debate, I usually get cheeseburgers from Burger King, but if I were to choose and not think about the money, I’d like a “Big Tasty” from McD
