She was found not guilty not because of her wealth, but just not enough evidence for jury to convict.
I like the movie and series Lifetime I think did about her with Christina Ricci.

Lizzie Borden is a distant cousin of mine. I don’t know much about her though. Just what I saw on a tv movie when I was a kid.
I have a slight thing for Christina Ricci so I went hog wild reading a lot of different books and articles on her when I was waiting for the movie.
But Lizzie most certainly did it, but there was no witnesses and nobody had any evidence on her. She was fully acquitted because there was no chance of proving that she did it and she got away with it, and her and her sister, who would never confirm the dad had been doing very wrong things to them, to put it fragile words.
Her and sister inherited the money, they split it and sis left. Lizzie moved to a new area but notoriety sticks and she ended up being a model citizen and donating money and time to her new community. As she aged people let their kids around as she became like neighborhood grandma, baking cookies for them.
She’s quit a cool person.
Sounds like a real psycho.
Her or her dad? I think the dad was the psycho for assaulting his daughters.
But to each their own. I like her, like movies and shows and books on her. And if she got away with it, smarter than more people give her credit for.
