When i was hospitalized last time there was a dude that told me he used to be in a gang and do some serious “erranda” for his boss. He did not specify what he did, but he was sent for 3 years to be locked in a long term hospital. Ive asked how many years you get for a homocide and he said around 10 years, but if you were severely psychotic and accidently killed a person then you would be hoapitalized for 6-8 years avarage. That hospital has a council that gathers every 6-12 months to review you case. Im thankful that I have not been to violent when psychotic, but i had to deal with a police when i punched my side friend and kicked out my moms home doors.
When i served time - you would always get one con, that would proudly state they were gonna fake an MI in the false belief they would get out sooner - or have more cushy surroundings. Of course they usually failed miserably - and didnt realise they would probably detain you for longer if you was successful.
More of the experience cons knew anyway - you would just go on the “numbers” where the sex-offenders were, a definate no no.
Here in the U.K. if you committed a serious crime like Murder while mentally ill you would be sent to a high secure hospital like Rampton or Broadmoor hospital. You don’t want to end up in these hospitals. It’s basically an indefinite sentence, you’re sharing your world with nasty people, people with serious personality disorders who are violent. And in these hospitals minimum stay is 7 years if good behaviour and remain stable, them you are moved to medium secure services and this again is indefinite. This while being pumped with antipsychotics and getting fat with seriously dangerous people who are more unpredictable then the prison population. No thank you.
This is what im afraid. I am not violent, but psychosis turns me a bit aggressive
I am not violent while on meds.
Damn. I will choice to be gone to be honest
Avoid drugs too, only drug I tried is weed and it made me violent probably bcz it cancels meds benefits. Weed is legal here.
