The cognition factor

Many here, including myself, worry about how they are doing cognitively.Don’t give up hope it is possible to improve.

15 months or so I had a 75 or so avg IQ for non-verbal/spatial tests. Now I’m averaging about 118. This is the best score I’ve achieved for that kind of test.

I’m 2-4 decades older than many of you. The potential you have for improvement may well be greater.

I want people to know that things can get better. Perhaps not all, but some is better than none at all.

Is it an age thing? I ask because I’m acutely aware that I’m at the age where dementia can occur. That coupled with things like planning to google something and my mind going blank, or taking time to think of a word, can make me a little worried in a way it would haven’t done 10 years ago.

I’m 44 so I’m not of that age yet. But it’s still a major issue for me
